Butter for greasing<\/li>
397g can shop bought caramel sauce<\/li>
2 tbsp Black Garlic Paste<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/li>
2 tsp Black Garlic Sea Salt<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/li>
200g dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids)<\/li>
180g salted butter<\/li>
4 large eggs \u2013 beaten<\/li>
1 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>
200g golden caster sugar<\/li>
40g cocoa powder – sifted<\/li>
140g plain flour \u2013 sifted<\/li>
1 \u00bd tsp extra Black Garlic Sea Salt<\/strong> <\/a><\/span>for sprinkling<\/li><\/ul>\u00a0<\/div>

Method<\/span><\/p>
Preheat the oven to 180\u00b0C\/160Cfan\/Gas4.<\/li>
Grease a 20cm x 20cm square baking tin and line the bottom of the tin with non-stick baking parchment.<\/li>
In a small bowl mix the caramel sauce with the Black Garlic Paste and 1 \u00bd tsp Black Garlic Sea Salt. Set aside<\/li>
Melt the chocolate together with the butter in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water.<\/li>
Allow the melted chocolate mixture to cool then mix in the beaten eggs a little at a time followed by the vanilla extract.<\/li>
In a large bowl mix the caster sugar, cocoa powder and flour.<\/li>
Add the cooled melted chocolate and egg mixture. Stir until batter mixture is well combined.<\/li>
Spoon half the batter into the baking tin and spread out to the edges then spoon over half the salted caramel mixture.<\/li>
Use a skewer to swirl the salted caramel into the batter.<\/li>
Top with the remaining batter and swirl through the remaining salted caramel.<\/li>
Sprinkle the top with a little more Black Garlic Sea Salt.<\/li>
Bake for 25 \u2013 30 minutes. NB The salted caramel brownie should have a slight wobble when the tin is shaken.<\/li>
Leave the brownie in the tin until completely<\/em> cold then cut into bite-sized pieces.<\/li>
Decorate each piece with an edible sugar Easter decoration if using. For a firmer brownie bite keep in the refrigerator.<\/li><\/ul>

Top Tip:<\/strong> brownies can be tricky to slice. Spray the blade of a knife with vegetable oil cooking spray which will help the blade glide through the brownie more smoothly.
