Ingredients<\/span><\/p>
225g raw prawns<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/b>\u2013 peeled and deveined<\/span><\/li>
1 tsp grated fresh ginger<\/li>
1 egg white<\/li>
2 spring onions – chopped<\/li>
1 tbsp Black Garlic Paste<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/li>
1 tsp Black Garlic Soy Sauce <\/b><\/a><\/span>or light soy sauce<\/li>
2 tsp cornflour<\/li>
\u00bc tsp white pepper<\/li>
\u00bc tsp salt<\/li>
4 slices white bread\u00a0<\/li>
100g white sesame seeds<\/li>
Vegetable oil for deep frying<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t

Method<\/span><\/p>
Place the prawns, ginger, egg white, spring onions, Black Garlic Paste, soy sauce, cornflour, pepper and salt into a food processor. Pulse until a paste is formed.<\/li>
Spread the prawn mixture very thickly on top of the slices of bread.<\/li>
Put the sesame seeds onto a large plate. Place each slice of bread, prawn paste side down, onto the sesame seeds.\u00a0 Press the sesame seeds into the prawn paste.<\/li>
Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or deep frying pan. When hot, fry the slices of bread one slice at a time, paste side down, for 2 minutes. Turn over and fry for a further minute until the bread is golden and the prawn paste is cooked.<\/li>
Drain on kitchen paper.<\/li>
Keep the sesame prawn toasts warm in an oven set to low temperature, until all the slices of bread have been fried. Place each prawn toast onto a chopping board and cut into 4 triangles.<\/li><\/ul>

To Serve: <\/b>serve immediately with hoisin sauce for dipping.<\/p>
Top Tip: <\/b>to check if the oil is hot enough drop in a small piece of bread. If it sizzles when the bread hits the oil then the oil is up to temperature.<\/p>
